Join us next Sunday at 11am as we continue our Upside Down Kingdom series. In this series, we’re engaging Jesus’ challenging, difficult, and surprising teaching on the Sermon on the Mount. SEND OFF PARTY FOR ANDY & KATY SCHEER // After church on August 18th // Andy & Katy will be moving back to Indiana at the end of August // Andy has been with us since before Eastside began & dedicated an immense amount of time & effort into leading worship nearly every week since we launched // Let’s send them off well!
NEW EASTSIDE KIDS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED // Our growing ministry needs some extra hands to teach & care for our children // We especially need leaders for our oldest class (6-10s) but always welcome help at any age level // No experience necessary! // Contact [email protected] if you are interested in learning more.

SCRIPTURE INTERPRETATION CLASS // Meets four Saturdays this fall at 10am at the church // Sept. 14th, Oct. 12th, Nov. 9th, Dec 7th // David Carr will teach this class on basic scripture interpretation // This is a great opportunity for anyone who’d like to learn more about reading & interpreting our sacred text // Cost is $20 & registration is required by Sept 7th // Register here // Contact David with questions: [email protected]
LA GONAVE HAITI PARTNERSHIP // Oct. 12-19 an exploratory team will go to the island of La Gonave to learn more about how we can join in the work of the partnership between the people of La Gonave, the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, & US partners // More information coming soon about collecting items for birth kits for the team members to bring with them
MEAL MINISTRY // When people experience big life events, the church community provides meals for the families // We’ve successfully provided many meals in the past but would like to update our email list so we can continue to sustain this growing ministry // Contact Brit Eyster if you’ like to bless the community in this way – brit.eyster(at)gmail.com
