Join us next Sunday at 11am as we continue our Upside Down Kingdom series. In this series, we’re engaging Jesus’ challenging, difficult, and surprising teaching on the Sermon on the Mount. Our Lead Pastor Timothy Lloyd will explore Matthew 7:15-20 “You Will Know Them By Their Fruits”. Don’t forget that if you’ve missed any sermons, you can catch up with our podcasts or sermon videos.

NEW EASTSIDE KIDS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED // Our growing ministry needs some extra hands to teach & care for our children // We especially need leaders for our oldest class (6-10s) but always welcome help at any age level // No experience necessary! // Contact [email protected] if you are interested in learning more.
SCRIPTURE INTERPRETATION CLASS // Meets four Saturdays this fall at 10am at the church // Sept. 14th, Oct. 12th, Nov. 9th, Dec 7th // David Carr will teach this class on basic scripture interpretation // This is a great opportunity for anyone who’d like to learn more about reading & interpreting our sacred text // Cost is $20 & registration is required by Sept 7th // Register here // Contact David with questions: [email protected]
LA GONAVE HAITI PARTNERSHIP // Oct. 12-19 an exploratory team will go to the island of La Gonave to learn more about how we can join in the work of the partnership between the people of La Gonave, the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, & US partners // See list below for items we’re collecting for birth kits.
BIRTH KIT SUPPLIES NEEDED // For our initial trip to Haiti, we’d like to bring supplies for needed birth kids on La Gonave // Items needed are // White cotton onesies, light cotton receiving blankets (can be “used” if in good shape), gallon ziplock bags, cloth diapers, diaper pens, infant diapers, baby knit hats & socks (can be “used” if in good shape) // We’ll be collecting through the beginning of October.
