Eastside Church Community Party celebrating our one year anniversary @ McKoy Park, August 12th from 4:30-8:30pm. We’ll be grilling out from 4:30-6:30 and then keeping the pool open an extra 2 hours from 6:30-830. Bring a side, your swimsuits, and lawn games. This is a great opportunity to invite friends, family, and neighbors!

Calling all handy men and women! We’d like to form a maintenance team that will help maintain the church building and property. Contact Trent Lloyd if can to serve in this way. – trent(at)eastsideatl.org

Eastside Church Arts Ministry is helping to start a public library in Ghana this year! We are seeking to collect as many books as possible by this October. The books can be any genre (and for any age), as an entire village will have access to this library.

Small groups are the way we connect with each other at Oakhurst. If you are interested in learning more about or joining an Oakhurst Small Group please contact Elisabeth Lloyd at Elisabeth(at)eastsideatl.org. Currently we have 5 groups that meet at various times and locations during the week. You can jump in at any time! Groups gather to fellowship, encourage one another, study scripture and pray for one another.

We always need help on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 to clean the church in preparation for worship. There is a sign up sheet at the information table for those able to contribute. This is an easy way to serve as well as to get connected with others in the church.

We’ve recently started both Men’s and Women’s Ministries at Oakhurst. If you’d like to get involved or just have questions about these new ministries, please contact either Roxanne Melendez for Women’s – roxanniemarie(at)hotmail.com or Greg Jones for Men’s – gregoryjones631(at)comcast.net or visit the information table after worship.
