Eastside Church Administrative Council // Met last on January 14 to review 2014 and look forward to growth in 2015 // The next Administrative Council meeting will be Wednesday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. // This is an open meeting.
Ways to Connect, Grow, & Serve Together
GROWTH GROUPS LAUNCHING // Growth Group sign-ups are happening throughout the month of January // Be sure to get a Growth Group Guide & indicate on a Connection Card what group you’d like to join // You can also sign up online or at the Growth Group info table in the lobby.
9:30 SERVICE EASTSIDE KIDS COLLECTIVE SUNDAY SCHOOL // Starting this Sunday, February 1st // Combined Sunday school classes for kids aged 4-10 will be available // Kids will attend the beginning of the main worship service with their parents in the sanctuary, come to EKC at “Passing of the Peace,” and then return for communion.
EASTSIDE KIDS COLLECTIVE VOLUNTEER TRAINING // This Sunday, February 1st // 12:30-2:00 p.m. // Current and future volunteers should attend to learn more about updates to new systems, curriculum, policies, and vision for 2015 // Childcare and lunch will be provided // Please RSVP with our Children’s Pastor, Stephanie Moffitt
COFFEE WITH THE PASTORS // Sunday, February 8th // 4:30-6:30 pm // For those interested in taking the next step & becoming a Covenant Member of Eastside // Childcare provided // Email Timothy Lloyd to RSVP.
SERVING DINNER AT HAGAR’S HOUSE // Wednesday, February 11th // 6:00-8:00 p.m. // Help us with serving dinner for mothers and children in need // Contact Dave Logeman to learn more and sign up.
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE // Wednesday, February 18th // This sacred service begins the season of Lent // We will have the imposition of ashes & the celebration of Holy Eucharist // Childcare will be available for children aged 0-4 // We invite children 5 & older to participate in the service with their parents.
OPEN TABLE DINNER // Saturday, February 21st // 4:30-6:30 p.m. // Tim & Elisabeth Lloyd’s // This is great for those who are new to the community & would like to meet some other folks and get plugged in // Main dish is provided, but please bring a favorite side to share// Professional childcare provided // RSVP to Elisabeth Lloyd for address & meal details.
