What’s Happening This Week – October 6th, 2013

Join us next Sunday at 11am as we continue our new sermon series “The Letter to the Philippians”. David Carr, a Phd candidate in New Testament Studies at Emory University and Eastside member will continue exploring Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi by looking at Philippians 2:1-11. Don’t forget that if you’ve missed any sermons, you can catch up with our podcasts or sermon videos.

LA GONAVE HAITI PARTNERSHIP // Oct. 11-19 an exploratory team will go to the island of La Gonave to learn more about how we can join in the work of the partnership between the people of La Gonave, the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, & US partners // See list below for items we’re collecting for birth kits.

PRE-SERVICE PRAYER // Every Sunday at 10:00a.m. & 10:30 before church // The Prayer Corner // Come at 10:00 for an informal time of personal prayer & centering & at 10:30 for communal prayer before worship. // Open to all
