EAV STRUT
Eastside is headed to the East Atlanta Strut! Join us on September 26th as we represent our church at a festival right in our backyard. You can join us as we march in the parade at 2pm or sign-up to be at our artist’s booth to talk to people about how much you love Eastside! Sign-up to join us online at eastsideatl.org. EASTSIDE PIANO SILENT AUCTION
Now-Sunday, October 4, 2015
Eastside is silent-auctioning the pianos found in the room to the right of the coffee bar. For the next week, feel free to visit the “piano room” and envision one of these pieces of history in your home! Following the auction, you will have ten days to remove the piano from Eastside.
MEAL TRAIN MINISTRY
Are you a talented chef? Do you command a kitchen like a pro? Can you throw a frozen lasagna in the oven like a champ? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, we need you to join the Meal Train Ministry! When a member of our community has a baby, has a surgery, experiences a loss, etc. we want to provide a meal to help make life a little simpler. If you are occasionally available to bring a meal to a fellow Eastsider who may be in need, email Brit Eyster for more information!
PARENTS TIME OUT
Mark your calendar for October 3rd, 4-6PM! Our first Parents Time Out event is happening soon and we can’t wait! We will have a short presentation and discussion and then give you some time for a Date Night in EAV! Childcare will be provided. Our topic for the night is Doing Theology at Home: Building Blocks for your family. Kids ask tough questions at every stage of development, and our goal is to send you home with a full toolbox so that in your discussions with them about faith, you feel prepared and confident as a parent. Join us for a great discussion and fun night out in EAV!! Look for registration details soon!
SERVE AT HAGAR’S HOUSE
Sunday, October 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Practice resurrection in our community by helping prepare and serve a meal to the women and children at Hagar’s House. We will head over immediately followingSunday Night Growth Group activities. To RSVP, please send an email to Dave Logeman at [email protected].
KIDS COLLECTIVE NEWS
School is back! That means that Kids Collective is grouped up in classes for the school year. Each class list can be found on the door of their classroom. Questions? Email Stephanie!
Also, each week kids age 3-10 will be bringing home Parent Resources to further their spiritual connection between the home and church. Feel free to speak with Stephanie if you have questions about these resources!

Looking for ways to get plugged in and serve with Eastside? We consistently need more volunteers each Sunday. It’s a great way to get involved & meet new people!
