If you are a part of the LGBTQIA+ Community and are looking for a space to be with other queer folks who are on a faith journey we would love to have you.
First Saturday Lunch
Each First Saturday, volunteers prepare and serve a hot lunch and throw a little party in front of our church. This is about more than feeding the hungry - it is about connecting with neighbors we don't know well and letting them feel seen, heard and loved. It is an opportunity to enlarge our circle of neighbors and actively and concretely demonstrate the love of God.
All In Sunday - Sunday Worship
2 years ago Rev. Elaine Puckett challenged Eastside with the question: “What would it look like if we all showed up to worship on the same Sunday?”
And we SHOWED OUT! It’s been 2 years and we are asking our congregation to do it again.
Make it a point to come to worship on December 7th and be a part of our new congregational photo!

Charge Conference
Charge Conference is the annual official business meeting for the congregation. Each congregation in the United Methodist Church participates in this practice in some way. Our District Superintendent or District Strategist will be here to preside over the meeting where we will submit official data records for the past year, approve our slate of nominated candidates for the Leadership Council, and approve the pastor’s salary package for the upcoming year. The voting members of Charge Conference are our Leadership Council members, but the gathering is open to anyone in the congregation who would like to attend. You're welcome to join us! Let Pastor Anjie know if you have any questions at anjie@eastsideatl.org.

How the Bible Actually Works: A Book Study
In How The Bible Actually Works Peter Enns argues that the Bible is not a how-to manual filled with literal truths about belief that must be strictly followed, nor does it hold easy answers to the perplexing questions and issues that confront us in our daily lives. Rather, the Bible is a dynamic instrument for study that not only offers an abundance of insights but provokes us to find our own answers to spiritual questions, cultivating God’s wisdom within us. This short term book study will explore these ideas together. Folks well-versed in Scripture and those reading Scripture for the first time will find thought provoking ideas to consider!
Youth Group
Youth in grades 6-12, you are invited to come hang out in the youth room and have Pizza with Abby as we plan the rest of our year! We will be meeting after church on Sunday October 26.
