Children and Youth Director

Maggie is a Birmingham, Alabama native who moved to Atlanta in 2019. Over the years she has worked in for multiple nonprofits and ministries in Alabama and Georgia. Her love of connection and community building grew serving as a campus minister at her alma mater, Auburn University, and Bread Coffeehouse at Oxford-Emory. She also served as the Campus Program Manager for Servants In Faith And Technology (SIFAT) in Lineville, Alabama, creating and running immersive educational experiences for all ages. After 5 years of working in specialty coffee in Atlanta, Maggie has stepped back into working in ministry and pursuing her Master of Divinity at Candler School of Theology! She is delighted to return to Eastside not just as a member of the congregation, but as staff.

When not here, you can find Maggie exploring new coffee shops around the city, hiking, reading, or dancing at a concert with her wife! Watch out, she’ll try and recruit you to play rugby with her and her club, High Country Women’s+ Rugby.
